Materials

Polished or un polished this is the hardest material. With very little maintenance
required it is the easiest material to keep clean and is more durable than most other stones.

Un polished limestone. This material is formed under water and contains shells.

Un polished limestone. This stone is denser than Portland and finer grained.

Un polished Italian Marble with grey veining.

| York |
Un polished sandstone is harder and more durable than limestone.

| Slate |
Un polished Welsh slate is a compressed layer of stone that makes it very
strong and durable.

Showroom
We have an extensive showroom where you are able to view many various memorials of different shapes, colours and sizes and where our friendly staff will be happy to help you. Our showroom is open 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Designs
Various designs are available and can be carved onto a memorial and highlighted to match your inscription. An extensive range of designs is available in our showroom and our stone mason is also able to replicate any design you may require.
Estimate & Inscription Illustration
Once an initial enquiry has been received, a full estimate detailing all costs involved will be sent to you via Royal Mail 1st Class Post. Also enclosed will be a permit for the local council or diocese and an illustration of your proposed inscription. All estimates are undertaken free of charge and you are under no obligation to accept any estimate received.
Guarantee
Memorial levels and lettering on all new work are covered by our two-year guarantee. Natural flaws in materials are, however, not covered although every effort will be made to select only the best materials of monumental quality.
Deposits & Payments of Accounts
When the estimate is accepted, the top copy must be signed, together with any accompanying forms and returned to us with a deposit of 20% of the total order that will be marked on your estimate. The total balance is payable four weeks from the date of the invoice once work has been completed.

Namm, The National Association of Memorial Masons is an organisation that governs all reputable stonemasons and ensures that all work carried out is of the highest standard and meets with all Health and Safety regulations. All NAMM members have a duty to comply to all rules and regulations pertaining to the safe erection of memorials and to provide the best quality materials and service to families.
